compact powder and she has acne...i have been having breakouts since then...is it possible that acne spreads this way?i did clean the compact layer and the powder brush with alcohol wipes.OR is it possbile i have break outs due to compact itself.I started the same day as she used them.I did spend a lot and i am so mad ..compact does have mica as a content.Does it cause acne?

Acne is not contagious.
More likely the compact powder itself is causing your breakouts, with the powder blocking the pores.
Make sure you take your make up off every day and that you keep you skin clean. Drink lots of water and eat fresh fruits and veg, acne will clear up in no time.

yes it causes acne and flare ups you should have just threw out the compact all together and got a new one . Dermatologists will tell you to not share the following with ppl: compact,eyeliner, mascara and etc. If you knew she had acne you should of said no! Take this as life lesson we all my be human beings but we all have germs.. An that can start a number of outbreaks in your case acne flare up's due to you not using that old rule of thumb mom told you don't drink, eat, or use any thing after others because that's the spread of germs. Ask her to replace it and don't let her use nothing of yours because of her skin issue . So would you use someone else's already use douche ? panties etc. think next time baby girl... just don't do that everything mom told you health wise was true so listen to her and get a new compact from now on change your makeup sponges etc, and no more sharing

Some of the oils from her skin could've passed onto your compact powder? my friend uses mine sometimes though and she has horrible acne. So I'm not sure if that's it but it could be You could be breaking out from something you're eating different or another chemical something thats an irritant. If you don't figure out what it is I suggest using pro-active or seeing a dermatologist.

basically, everytime you blot ur face some more, ur compact applicator picks up more bacteria and oil from ur face nd the bacteria growing on ur applicator goes on ur face
seriously, i use to hav the same problem nd i spent sooo much money on acne medication, soaps, etc but they didn't work until i stopped using the powder (which was quite pricey itself), and started using illuminare foundation instead (u don't need a powder w/ it)
go to illuminarecosmetics.com for the foundation -> it is SO amazing!! my face is totally clear now :)
