I have asked him why hes aiways saying that and he said it was because of his last girlfriend he said that he always made her mad for no reason!

He may not be comfortable with himself. He may have been abused growing up. He may just be using it as a figure of speech. He may think it's polite. I'd rather he apologized too much and have to tell him he has nothing to apologize for than to have a boyfriend who is inconsiderate and never admits guilt or remorse for anything. I personally substitute "I'm sorry" for "excuse me" if I don't hear someone right, but that's just me. You could try talking to him about it, but know that if that's a habit he has, it's going to be tough to break, so you'll just have to be patient and work with him on it.

Somebody told him (a guy probably) that anytime a women gets upset no matter what it is just say you are sorry. He's a dummy lol. He needs to listen to you and evaluate what you are saying and gently give his imput.

maybe he doesn't realize he's saying it, cause it's a natural vocabulary of his.
maybe try asking him why he keeps saying sorry for, when theres nothing to be sorry about?
it might then hit him, then yeah, maybe he IS saying it a bit too much.

try comforting him and reassuing him that you love him so he knows that you love him.
