It will most likely be a lot less a task then the Vietnam evacuation was. America will have to take refugees that they are responsible for due to the war.

The logistic are going to be extremely difficult and embarrassing to our government. It probably going to take weeks to assemble equipment and men to a staging point under extremely difficult circumstances. Those opposed to our occupation are going to be embolden and in full force attacking our troops. We will probably have to destroy or leave most of our equipment behind. This is probably going to happen because it's hard envision a grateful, completely democratic, pro-American Iraq throwing us flowers and wishing us the best as we leave. This scenario has already been discussed by both Republicans and Democrats and is the reason most politicians seeking reelection prefer the casualties rather than being involved in a withdrawal of our troops.

We can do what Nixon did "Vietnamization". He reduced the numbers of troops gradually because we can't pull out all soldiers at once.
