when his prostate (the gland that circles the urethra) gets worn out. this gland usually clamps down on the bladder urethra until there is ehough to go, but with old age, it gets worn out, and the pelvic muscles have to close the urethra.

There is no male phase of frequent urination or we would have named it long ago. It's not puberty or adulthood or senility. I would go back to your teacher and get the details straight.
