Friends, friends, please help me!I have this bf of mine who is 41 yrs old (i'm 25) and he's kind of mentally torturing me.Let me share with u wat is happening then u might know whether i'm being tortured or not.My bf is very VERY suspicious and he hates me to talk to any of my friends and even bars me from doing anything I like, eg. going to work or even going to the movie.At 1st he agrees but later on when he starts a fight he will accuse tht i m a Bi*** and i have cheated him.As far as i know, he's my 1st bf and i never had feelings for other men.i do have friends but dont tell me a girl can't even say Hi to her male colleague or frens.Whenever i break up wth him,he threatens me and shouts at me tht i've cheated him and he's gng to end his life and makes me feel guilty for his condition.Last night he called and said he's dying and he's admitted in the hosp coz he feels i'm having an affair.I sewared and cried to him tht did not.He's making me so miserable i can't even go to work.

Now the latest problem is tht, I downloaded a new caller ring tone to my handphone and when my bf heard tht song he immediately told me to remove the song. I asked him why and he said he doesnt know which Mother F***** had d/loaded tht song for me. I told him i loved tht song and i am the one who d/loaded it into my phone and he's so stubborn and adement he said by today he doesnt want it to be there.Shud i remove the caller tone? for all this, he consumed poison last night coz he said i was not sincere.I dont understand this men.we're both not living together but communicate thru the phone.Dont i have the rights to choose what I want?Did i do a mistake?i still havent removed the ringtone yet.

Oh sweetie. My boyfriend is the same. He accuses me of sleeping with guys at my work. I love my boyfriend but it can be hard to take. What makes it hard is that no matter what you say he doesn't believe you. I am not interested in anyone else but him. If you do want to break up with your boyfriend, do it. If he threatens to commit suicide he is only using emotional blackmail.

Since you are not married to this horrible insecure old man who is scared of the beautiful woman he is involved with (you) just leave him. He wont die. and life will go on. He is a controlling abusive person and as long as you stay with him he will be like this and you can never be happy. I know because i have a friend just like you.

Girl, all you got to do is break up with the guy, he doesn't even treat you right, you need to break up wit the guy...hes like 16 years older than you...that is just wrong...find someone alittle older than ur self. I mean someone not old enough to be your dad. And he deserves not to have a girl like you, cuz the way he treats you. He should really trust you, but he doesn't. Break up with the guy...later in life, he will realize that he lost someone special and he will realize what he did. All you got to do is break up with him cuz he is trying to control your life. Thats all i am gonna say.

He's mentally abusing you.
The things you've mentioned are often not recognized as abuse, but your bf is a TEXTBOOK CASE of mental abuse, abuse which could escalate to physical abuse. Threatening suicide, telling you you can't go out even to work, it is abuse. Run away from this man. If you're scared of him hurting you, there should be a place near you that will help you get away from him. If you're living with him, I encourage you to go to a women's shelter. This is abuse and you don't need it.
