i was running backwards and then i fell down and my head bounced off the ground literally. now evrytime i sit down or get up i nearly fall from diziness. am i going to be okay. if not what should i do? or how long should i just stay home?

anytime there is injury to the head-it should be checked out by a doctor.
concussions can take hours and sometimes days to appear and they can range from mild to severe-causing comas. it sounds like you have a mild concussion.
i would report to the emergency room immediately-DO NOT drive yourself-if you have noone to take you-call 911
there are several head injuries you could have sustained
-subdural hematoma (collection of blood on the surface of the brain)
-concussion (ranges from mild headache to loss of consciousness)
-skull fracture
-subarachnoid hemorrage (bleeding inside the brain)
symptoms of the above are:
-headache (can be sudden or prolonged, can feel like popping or snapping sensation)
-nausea or vomiting
-decreased alertness or confusion
-DIZZINESS
-changes in vision (bluriness,double vision,seeing spots)
-neck stiffness
head injuries are unpredictable and can worsen in a matter of minutes. more than likely you have a minor concussion that will just take time to heal along with pain meds to help you cope, but it is VERY IMPORTANT that you get checked out-if you have bleeding inside your brain-you might not feel the symptoms right away and when you finally do-it could be too late to avoid serious complications from it-please go to the nearest emergency room

joke battle huh? A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?"

First off, go see your doctor!!! Anytime someone hits their head, and are having dizziness, or any other type symptoms of possible concussion, you need medical follow up.
Head trauma, even a mild concussion, is nothing to blow off. Be smart and go see your doctor.

Go see a doctor,and let him check to see if you have a brain.Please tell me.....why would anyone run backwards.And the reason your head bounced,it is probably made of rubber.

Go to the nearest Emergency Department for a neurological evaluation. Do not drive! Do not take any pain medication. Good luck.

definitely u should be okay
1st, do u have health insurance?
2nd, do u pay for your insurance or is it deducted from your pay check?
3rd, what is the essence of health insurance?
4th, do u have people around you that loves you? i dont think so 'cause if they do, they woulda told u to go to the Doctor. and
5th, dont come asking questions because u wanna get on Level 2
Finally, i think the solution is everytime u feel dizzy, get some vodka or cognac, it brings about homeostatis( a state of internal balance) thru positive feedback ( alcoholic brings back dizziness)

go to a doctor hopefully it's just a concussion but you better get it checked could be a slow bleed.
