Take tours instead of going out yourself. Most hotels have tours and you can sign up once you get there. Food is crappy and way overpriced. Water is beautiful...beaches are great. Locals are scary....keep your wallet and purse close to you if you have to take it with you. Most hotels offer safe boxes.

I took my 12 yr old daughter and we stayed at the Radisson Cable Beach (all inclusive). Very nice. We took a bus downtown with locals on it and then we walked a couple of miles to the large fire dept. in Nassau to buy t-shirts. Everyone was very friendly. We walked around the resort in daytime, never in the evening. Went to Paradise Island on the ferry and looked around. We never felt unsafe. Beaches are nice, weather great and ocean warm.....Go and Enjoy!

DON'T WORRY. JUST DON'T VENTURE AWAY FROM THE TOURIST'S AREA. IF U DO, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE U WILL GET ROBBED OR KILLED. SO, U ARE FINE IF U STAY WHERE U BELONG. U CANNOT MINGLE WITH THE LOCALS. MY OTHER TRAVEL TIP, BE PREPARED TO SPEND A BUNDLE ON TAXIS. COMBINE AS MANY TRIPS AS POSSIBLE. GET EVERYTHING U NEED BEFORE U GO BACK TO YOUR HOTEL. DON'T DRIVE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD.

Best place to go? The best view is looking in the rear view mirror as you leave.

Travel tip: Don' go. You have a 100% chance of being robbed and a 50% chance that your body will ever be found.
