What would be a good storyline/adventure. I'm starting all players off at 0.

Off at 0? I assume you mean 1st level.

Are the players all starting off knowing each other? In either case, a good way for players to meet is through a small fishing town. The ships provide a good way for people to come to and from this town. It is in this town that the players might earn their first level or two by taking down some sailors who are robbing honest folk - or by robbing the honest folk themselves, depending on what sort of game you're running.

Through doing this (helping or hurting the townsfolk), they eventually catch the attention of the mayor or the captain of the townguard, who has something they need retrieved. Like a gem that is a cave being guarded by goblins, or a bugbear cave that rumor has it they're planning a raid against the town - the players job is merely to determine if this is true or not and find out exactly how many bugbear there are. You don't have to have it be bugbears, but it should be some creatures that could easily overpower the characters, so its in their best interest not to get into a one-on-one with them - or even a three-on-one.

That should get you started.

Starting off at Lvl.0. I would take each player through their initial training of their class.Say each class had some institution ,whether a single mentor or a more formal school , in a large city noted for its over population of adventurers.
Each day would have the characters go to their classes and sometime during the day they would gather at the local hangout(ie. a tavern or something similar). once everyone is given their first level start with small local problems then move further out into the larger world.
some ideas for enemies could be a student from a rival school or a student one of the characters had bettered in his own class.

I personally would not go with o Level characters unless there was a very good reason like first time players or you want them to build a greater attachment to their characters.
