What is your favourite Greek Tragedy? I am hoping to produce a Greek Tragedy in a shortened English format.

I have done a shortened version of the Furies in a one act play festival to good results. At the time I had a cast of 17 in a 20 minute show.

Yes.
Oedipus.

Most of Shakespeare is Greek tragedy.

Yes, I would. I enjoy Antigone. But Medea is also fabulous.

I really enjoy Oedipus Rex. I think it would be a fantastic show to see live. I can't STAND Antigone! Please don't ever do it!

And please don't call Oedipus Rex, "Oedipus the King"...ugh.
