for the same reason why there are floatation devices under the seats of airplanes instead of parachutes. aaaahhh the world makes sense now doesnt it?

Sometimes America doesn't make sense. Just like having mailboxes outside the post office...you are already there. Or why there are most wanted signs in the police department, the one place you won't spot the criminal. When the sign says "curb" your dog, does that mean that's where they are suppose to park it? Why are there tolls on freeways? You see America just doesn't make sense.

parkways are packed with vehicles going very rapid so parking is risky driveways are short and frequently linked to a house or construction so driving on them may well be risky ...satisfied i could help
