first of all im straight....but why cant everyone just accept everyone else! i mean if you think being gay is wrong then it isnt ur place to judge anyway- its gods. so if u think the bible says being gay is wrong- then ur a christian so u should know it isnt ur place to judge, its gods.... and if ur gay then be gay dont go preaching about how unfair ur treated...just be gay and dont listen to everyone elses comments. who cares if some people dont like gays- why should there oppinions bother you? and if people want to be gay let them be gay! who gave u the right to say who people should be with? does anyone else feel this way? that everyone should just...stop?!

I totally agree with you ellen. I actually become stronger and stronger with every comment from an ignorant person. We're coming out more and more everyday and we're not ever going back into a closet....thanks for the support.

Having been politically active for probably more years than you have been alive, I can tell you from experience that if as a lesbian I fail to stand up when my gay brothers/lesbian sisters are maligned, attacked physically or verbally, debased, or otherwise harmed.. then I invite more attacks. If these people are not stood up to, then they will continue to become more and more hateful, more and more daring in their abuse of gays and more violent.
It has taken a long time to get to the point where any of our rights as Americans who also happen to be gay are protected by any laws.
There are some on this site that I do not bother with answering, but I do report their verbal attacks and abuse.. and usually give them a thumbs down..
When I am granted the same rights that you are.. (yes I noticed you felt compelled to state you are not gay) then I will stop .. until then I will not. When they come for you for whatever reason, do you expect me to stand up for you if you do not now stand up for me?

Thank you for that. I think that if there were more people out there like yourself this site would be better. I could go onto the Christian site and bash the sh!t out of them but I don't because I know I'm in my place and no need to go into theirs.
I have found through my life, and such a religious family, that they are the most cruel people in the world and mostly think that they are better than everyone else.
Everyone is created equal in God's eyes.

I think you really are judging but you just no better to say so! I was in ministry for 17 years. I know the word and I know about sin! As the bible SIN IS SIN not matter the sin. I know that you want to be understanding towards gay people but you really don't have to! The way I see it people can judge me all they want it is not going to affect my life at all! I really believe that God knows my heart and he will do as he pleases with me anyway so don't try to be super lady and save the world!

You're preaching to the choir, however I completely agree with you. I think being gay is no big deal, it's like ok whatever, I'm gay. Just too bad other people don't see it that way. My philosophy is to live and let live, and not care what the next person thinks.
