Is there any way to save Limewire downloads without getting Pro?

They are already saved as real files. They should be in the 'shared' directory setup by Limewire.

what you need to do is:
1.open my computer
2.open local disk (C:)
3.open documents and settings
4.open the respective users folder
5.open my documents
6.create a new folder called "limewire"...NO CAPS!!!!!
7.open limewire.
8.in the option where you can change the saving settings change the file name to the one you just created.
9.you will get some warnings saying that all the songs will be transfered, that's okay.
10.you should be set to go by then
