I did like some rap in the 80's like tupac, public enemy, ice cube. Now it is so bad I just laugh at it. Thanks for shedding your opinions and what not.

Oh, it isn't all bad. Sure, lots of it is terrible, but can you not dig Run DMC?! They were pretty cool. I look at it this way: for every AC DC, there's a Poison out there. Know what I mean?

Interesting. Did you ever like rap? Well I agree that most rap sucks now-adays but I still love R&B and Rap. What is happening is that capitalism is taking over art. Have you noticed that rap videos now are more like comercials, selling a look or product or behavior? Or Chicken noodle soup, or lafy taffy or air force ones?

I agree with you, BUT, maybe you can change the genre of rap that you listen to, and you will learn to appreciate it more. Check out COMMON, he has a song called I used to love her it sounds like he is talking about a girl but he is talking about how rap has changed... I think you would like it. or kanye West's (not his hit singles but the other tracks that weren't commercially released) you can also check out THE ROOTS ; TALIB QUALI or Mos Def.

If you would just rather stay away from rap, I respect your choice but don't ever Dismiss something without learning about it or giving it a chance. I listen to rap but I gave country a chance and guess what? there are a few songs I even have in my ipod.

Thank you for having such a strong opinion about something so [popular. don't let others put your opinions down, but be more tactful. :)

Yeah guy, I agree. I turn on the radio to the section's station and all I hear are awful rappers. the closest i'm getting to actual track is Britney Spears. isn't that unhappy? Who could have ever concept identity be happy to take heed to her. greater desirable than a rapper for specific, yet nevertheless no longer reliable track.

That is genius. Well, I believe that todays rappers are focusing too much on materialistic topics. Society definitely frowns down upon them just like it did to rock during the 80's. But nevertheless, I am not a big fan of today's rap and would be happier if it never existed. Rock on!
