Changing the air in your tires from summer air to winter air? And now checking the muffler belt? I hope that you didn't pay somebody to do this. I also hope that you are just being funny.
And blinker fluid? No way!

There's no such thing.
Tell them you went to a mechanic to check it, and that he charged you $800 to fix it, but the car runs much better, and you really appreciate what a good friend they are for giving you such great advice.
That's probably the best way to get even, by making them feeling like a real AH for doing that to you.

mufflers don't have belts. at least not on anything made in this galaxy. could it bee that you just need to check the car with a slope guage?

They were probably referring to the clamp that retains the heat shield or the rubber bands (oversize O rings) that support the muffler.

LoL...
Your muffler belt is connected to your manifold distributor. You have to remove the oil-pan from your windshield to get to it.

Check you blinker fluid first, then tighten you muffler bearing with a welch wrench.....
