had no idea there was such a thing. how do you change it? flaten your tires and refill them?

Well... would you want to breathe old yucky winter air all summer long? No, you want fresh, clean summer air. I suggest that you deflate your tires completely, and let them sit on the rims for about 4 days. This will give the rubber time to relax too; like a summer vacation. Then, to ensure that the air your tires gets is truely summer air, I suggest that you blow the tires up with your mouth rather than one of those machines.. you never how long it has been since they filled that machine.. could be winter leftovers. It's a good thing you asked... this is not something to "guess" at

I guess no one took the ase test on tire care.
You all making fun of this lady. If you had paid attention in mechanic 101 you would have learned that you change from summer air to winter air on septober 32 at exactly 12 o'clock noon.
when it comes time to change back to summer air you come back and ask. I could tell you now but you would probably forget.

Unless you want to change your air in the tires to Nitrogen, you don't have to change the air.
Nitrogen stay longer in the tires, therefore you don't have to check your tire much as air filled tire. There are many great reason to use nitrogen.

you are a complete air head u do not change the air in your tire EVER u change from sumer tires to winter tires and that is about it.

You have no need to change air. Just make sure that you check your tire pressure often and keep your tires inflated to the recommended pressure.

while I think someone is teasing you or making fun of your lack of automobile knowledge it IS adviseable to lower your tire pressure during the winter months in order to put more rubber on the road but no more than a coupe of of pounds per square inch ,(PSI)

i own a repair shop,and its obvious you have been miss lead on this one,you don't ever have to change the air in your tires,someone has pulled a good one on you,the air is good until you get a flat and loose it all,good luck i hope this help,s
