My son was down in Det. for game 4. When it ended all there was was a lot of love............ok and maybe a few beers. Every one was happy and nice, no problems.
I don't think there will be any when the Tigers win the world series either.
Now if/when the lions win the super bowl then there might not a city left. But what am I saying it's the lions it won't happen

this isn't 1984..
Remember, Detroit is no stranger to championships.. each of the Red Wing stanley cup victories netted well more than one-million fans converging on downtown and not a single incident involving the 'revelry' was noted.. same with the Piston back to back championships.. Since the 1990s, Detroit has 'hosted' several home town championships.. and each one, the fans have behaved.. the same will hold true when/if the Tigers win the World Series..
