what i meant was that for some reason Rams coach thought the game was over and they had one, THEN Seahawks got to kick field goal..sorry, wasn't very clear on my question, but something went on in that last 4 or 5 seconds of play that i did not catch..that is what i am wondering about. I watched the entire game , including winning field goal. i thought it was one of the better games i have watched, both teams played well...thx..

ur prob talking about the penalty where scott linehan walked down the field thinking it was over? well what happaned was that their TE i believe it was didnt line up correctly. so scott myself and everyone in st louis thought it was over beacuse of a 10 second run off but that only counts for pre snap penalties like false starts etc. when their guy didnt line up and a legal snap was made whcih negated any pre snap penalties hope this helps

What do you mean what happened? The Seahawks kicked a 54 yard field goal to win the game :)
This game proved exactly why you shouldn't leave with 3 minutes left in the game and the opposing team intercepts the ball. because then they fumbled it, and ST Louis scored that bad *** touch down... then to lose in the last 4 seconds. great game
EDIT lol... sorry. I guess if I thought about it, I might have added that part in. They already told ya below. The Rams coach was soooo excited, and then started to freak out a bit when the penalty wasn't a false start. I'm glad it didn't end with running the 10 seconds off. Thankfully, neither team is my team and I just get to enjoy watching the game rather than getting emotional about it.

Seattle lined up, spiked the ball, got called for illeagel formation. St Louis started celebrating when they sawthe flag because they thought it was a false start penalty, which would mean 10 seconds would run off the clock and the rams would win. Instead Seattle was backed up 5 yards an their kicker nailed a 54 yard field goal to win.
