I have a new boyfriend and i think i really like him, but right after we started going together he give me a condom and said i dont want to pressure you into anything but ill wait for you(im a virgin) so give this back to me when your ready and we'll see where things go... i thought it was kinda sweet but at the same time i thought he only wannt some booty from me, what do you people think????

It doesn't matter what his motive is, because he gave you complete control. That in itself is sweet, and it's also kinda sweet the way he did it, because not only is he giving you complete control, but, he's also giving you a way to let him know that you are ready without any embarrassing verbal communication and he's telling you he wants to practice safe sex when you do consent. The only reason I'd suspect he's being underhanded is if he's giving you the condom to hold on to so his parents won't find it on him.

Look, first and foremost...all boys and the majority of men want first and foremost to hit it...yes. Now with that said, that doesnt mean he is not a sweet guy, and it doesnt mean he doesn't also have your best interest in heart. Do you understand what I mean. Let me see if I can clarify.
A man is a man. He is thinking about it all the time. But, a man can be considerate if the woman demands that of him. Put it like this, if you offer him your goods, he is not going to turn you down.But if you let him know, " Hey, Im not ready, I want to get to know you, I want you to get to know me, AND, I dont know when I will be ready" He will start to respect your boundries. Be prepared, he will still make attempts, they may be subtle, they may be direct but he will continue to try, You are a conquest. This doesnt mean he is not sweet and he does not care about you, but he will try. You are a virgin too..that would be like a gold medal at the olympics.
YOU BE THE SMART ONE. If you are not ready. DONT DO IT. I do think the condom thing was a subtle manipulation to have you begin to think about it all the time. Im not saying that you should hold it against him, and diss him and any relationship you may be developing, because like I said, you have to understand that he will be trying, and trying , and trying all the time. Even when you dont realize it, shoot..girl he may not realize it. It comes with the territory.
If you lose him, because you dont want to have sex, then so be it, he wasnt the one. If he sticks around..GREAT. But that still dont mean he's not gonna try. Be secure in your spot and he shouldn't be able to sway how you feel about doing it.

I guess it can go either way. The upside is he did give u a condom and he left it up to u.
Now if he keeps at u about it then maybe u can ask him whats up if he don't mention it then maybe u have a good guy.
Another way to find out is to ask him what happens to the relationship if ur not willing to give up the booty until u r 100% sure he's in the relationship because he really feels u
