"sound silly i know" it is just my partner and i are trying for a baby and i like to know when my period is due and when i will be ovulating, will i have to change everything around now i.e ovulation etc, or is it due to stress?? advice would be most appreciated.

Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test

The clotting is normal every once in a while. It just means that the blood is pooling longer, and taking longer to be expelled. If it starts happening every month (like me) you should definitely get checked for fibroids (which I have) While fibroids are not harmful, they can interfere with conception, and they can interfere with pregnancy. I had one that formed on my placenta when I was pregnant with daughter #1. It grew as she grew. I went into labor at 6 months because of it. As to the 27 day cycle, that too is nothing to worry about. Cycles vary from woman to woman, and from month to month. You could have had a dietary change, begun or stopped taking vitamins, increased or decreased your exercise, and numerous other things. Stress can play a tremendous role in your cycle too. Don't stress over whether or not you're pregnant. The best ovulation prediction I ever found was the mucous test. That day or two when your mucous (not from your nose, you know what I mean) seems thin and stringy is the best time for getting pregnant. We conceived both of our older children after monitoring that and timing it just right. Just don't stress over it. We've been trying for 2.5 years now to get pregnant, and it hasn't happened. We've learned to just enjoy the trying.

My first guess would be stress. It may be a change in your diet also. The best advice will be from your ob-gyn, especially if you're trying to have a baby. Sometimes, though, periods just change. Mine is fairly regular, about every 4 weeks, but it's not 100%.
as for ovulating and getting pregnant, I know there are methods that involve taking your temperature to know when you should try for the baby. Definitely consult your doctor, though!

There are many reasons why your days are off. My days get off when I'm around a lot of women... I grew up with lots of sisters and we all had the same cycle, except mine was only 21 days. I don't think its stress, just crazy (and very regular) hormones. So... whenyagettinmarriedtheregirlie?

I would suggest going to the doctor because there are many different calendar methods that they can suggest for the best time of ovulation and things like that.

Its probably stress, and one day difference is not usually enough to raise a red flag. It should go back to normal eventually, eat right and try to relax. My husband and I are also TTC. So good luck.

on average it takes couples five years of trying to get pregnant to do so. why dont you buy some fertility tests? you were probably miscarrying if it was unsual and late (if its early enough, it'll act like a normal period). and no, periods are freaks of nature no matter how regular you were before, it could be ANY number of days apart.

honestly, some women's cycles change with the season's...
i would suggest to get ovulation kits to make sure you know your dates if you really are trying for a baby.
good luck

stress could be a factor
but I would love to see you go to your doctor
they are the only one who can really determine the cause of this and they are the only one who can help you, especially if something is wrong.
you need them to give you a check up.
good luck
