No. That is just rude! If you have an ambulance at your house, you are having a real tramatic moment. The last thing you need is some neighbor coming over like a news reporter and asking questions.
Sorry, but tell them to go F--- themselves. We did that when our son got hurt and our senior citizen widow came over and ran in right behind the ambulance people to find out WHAT IS GOING ON!
We did not need that. And neither do you!

Being a looky loo is human nature. It takes discipline not to react to something such as tragedy with curiosity..
There's been many a times when I've been on the scene before the ambulance and have been able to give first aid to the victims until they arrived. Of course that's different I suppose. Then there's always the witness factor.....if someone had seen what happened, or known the neighbour well enough to contribute information that might be helpful to the injuries. ie...was the person up and around earlier...were they drinking.....things of this nature could be helpful to an EMT.....
Otherwise, you can't stop human nature....Everyone wants to know what's going on.......This can't be helped...But staying out of the way can. And asking questions to emergency personnel when they're trying to save lives is ridiculous.....
Good day..! ! !

Yes, because it's just then being concern( not really nosey) but just wanting to know whats going on around them. When u live that close to someone and somethings happens where the police or ambulance comes, it's scarey u want to know.
What if the ambulance are there because it was an attack or murder from a break in, wouldn't u want to know( living that close)

Yes, there's nothing wrong with that, they are just concerned.
I would be concerned and go outside if an ambulance is outside my neighboors house. I wouldn't get in the way of the medics, but I would want to know what's going on.

That's a tough one. Of course, morbid curiosity brings a lot of folks out . . . but so does genuine concern. I'm not sure how you balance someone's need and right for privacy with their neighbors' concern. On one hand, the neighbors are accused of being nosey. But if they show no concern, then they are unfeeling.

Sometimes they feel like they can help you or the person that is going to the hospital. It could be moral support. Then there is that 90% that is just nosey. I don't like those kind of people. who have to run out there door and see what is going on. If someone ran out naked then people wouldn't be so eager to run out next time.

They are just concerned and it's ok AS LONG AS it does not interfere in any way with what the ambulance needs to do.

If I had to go to hospital at a moment's notice, I would want my neighbors to come out and check with us. I need someone to watch my dog afterall.
