What is up with this? She acts like we are old freinds and she made it a living nightmare for me at work until I ended up quitting........

Hi,
I went through the exactly the same. I quit too. I left my job on faith alone as I knew I needed that job to pay by bills. Leaving the situation and forgiving the situation and all the people has helped tremendously. I just go to Father and all my bitterness dissipates. I have never had a mean spirit to begin with so it is easy for me to hug people that have hurt me. Father says if I cannot forgive them, he cannot forgive me. They won't be keeping me out of Heaven(smile). This probably won't make sense to you if you are not a believer. God Bless You and all of the people that have hurt you.

Home life= A place to hang out with friends and family. Do what you want no real timeline, usually no money involved.
Work= Feeding your family, this includes critters. Paying the car payment house payment, paying credit cards, loans, etc.
Work is work. One does not go there to socialize. Some company's frown on management even being friends with those that are not in management. The workforce is very competitive these days. Especially for the older crowd, there are plenty of others who will take your job. Some places such as the place you worked at might be one of these companies that want there workers to work? Hugging would not be something anyone would do at Mr's work, get fired for that.....Even if a couple is dating one has to be moved, fired, or has to quit.
Do not take it personal. One has to realize the difference in work and personal life . Otherwise one might as well stay out of the work force.

i think that she had some issues back then and did not know how to deal with then and now she OK and don't know how to say sorry and hopes that the hug Will erase the memories or something . hurting people hurt others weather they mean to or not I'm talking from experience . just try to forgive her I'm sure she did not mean to treat you that way its not an excuse but some people really don't know how to deal with there problems and be kind to others at the same time,so just forgive her or and the next thing she could have been trying to make friends with you in a very wearied way its a possibility.

The most weird thing in this world is that people don't talk. They don't express themselves. What I mean is if she is so friendly to you, take her to some place where you can have a friendly conversation,like maybe for a walk or to a cafe. Ask her whats up with this new her (be polite) and tell her how you felt so bad when she made your life hell and if she confesses and apologizes, forgive her and tell her how glad you are to be friends with her.

You don't work with her anymore .. so the pressure is off for her to get you to quit. So now there is no reason to treat you poorly. Maybe she is afraid that now that you no longer work there, you might complain to her boss about her behavior .. or something else to get her into trouble. Good Luck ! :)

Well if you quit because of this girl and she knows it...it's called guilt. She's feeling guilty for your leaving and to make 'herself' feel better she tries to put on a " I care about you " show....
Don't go for it....Let her waller in her guilt. Maybe she won't be so mean to the next person. I know that's not the christian thing to do, but you've probably got better things to do than soothe her conscience...

She won ! You quit so she is no longer in competition with you . She is a jerk,
stay clear of her . She will only set you up for another fall later . I know her type!

Since you no longer work with her, she can't give you any trouble. She will try to be really nice so that she can weasle into your life and find a way to bring you hell.
