He was a freedom fighter that removed corrupt, human right abusers, and CIA puppet 3rd world dictators. Then murdered with no trial.

I'm guilty as stinky charged me! I like Che Guevara. Call me what you want, but I like freedom more than oppresion.

Who said anything about Che? I dig the man, myself. I think we Neo-Cons need to follow his example, and start taking these disgusting liberals out. Che did a good thing, Fidel just double crossed him. If things had gone as Che Guevara had intended Cuba would be today what America was.

Whether you agree with Che's revolutionary views or not, you must give him credit for fighting for what he believed in! He was a medical doctor who left his family behind to bring down a dictator, but he escaped from Castro's Cuba... or he would've been killed, too, after he helped Castro rise to power, and getting rid of the corrupt dictator, Batista, who was in bed with the Italian Mafia that controlled the casinos, the drug trafficking...

He fought against oppressors, and poverty and wanted the poor to have equal opportunities in education, proper housing and medicines to eradicate treatable diseases and illnesses...

He was ambushed, injured and capture in the skirmish and murdered while held prisoner in Bolivia and his grave never disclosed to prevent the entire populace from paying tribute to a man of true convictions and true courage!

Today, Cuba is starving and in dire poverty... because of the embargo led by the USA... because Castro refuses to allow foreigners from exploiting the Cuban people as in the past. It is an unfair treatment of the Cubans but the USA government shares the blame for that! Trade would surely introduce ideas of reform, ideas of a better life but instead it has only punished the Cuban people and forced them all into a life of misery and poverty.

There are none like him today. Our elected officials can learn much about ethics, honor and valor from him... too bad he was murdered! Viva Che!

I do NOT hate America. I hate corrupt politicians who are puppets for the super rich and powerful who are, in turn, trying to enslave us financially, and trying to usurp our Constitutional rights, liberties and freedoms! Che was a man of cojones, and we do NOT have one single politician today with Che's moral, ethical and courageous convictions!

Che Guervara did none of those things. What he did do however is lead a russian supplied army of thugs against Cuba's people. Although he vastly outnumbered them and was supplied with high tech weaponary while they had hunting rifles mostly, they slaughtered his troops (he was a fool and completely incompetent as military commander). Eventually, he won through attrition although he paid dearly in blood for his victory. Then, he spent much of his career torturing innocent people to death who were jailed for no other reason than to instill terror in the populace so that they would become ground down and submit to what was (and is) essentially slavery.

Cuba today is a land of darkness. Where the men are forced to work as slaves for foriegn corporations of unsavory rogue countries and the women are forced to work as prostitutes. Starvation, oppression and fear are common place.

The one good thing that can be said about Guervara was that he was such an incompetent fool that he supplied a good chance of causing Castro to fail (saving the Cuban people decades of poverty, misery and evil).

Unfortunately, Castro's best ally was and always has been disgusting people like you on the left who treat him like a hero when he is one of history's worst villains. You are so foolishly in love with marxism that you ignore and cover up the fact that ALL governments based on it have engaged in heinous atrocities and crimes against humanity (not to mention being pathetic failures).

YOU are an evil person YOU help people like Guervara get away with his evil deeds. There is an ocean of blood on your hands.

Shame on you.

Che murdered a lot of people simply for their religious beliefs.

I am offended by homicidal people. I also do not care for those people who espoused a discredited economic theory which advocated enslavement of people and the removal of freedom and liberty for their own good--all in the furtherance of some preposterous utopia that was to occur at some vague time in the furture.

What did Hitler ever do to YOU that was so wrong?

Very bad ideas, such as what was once-upon-a-time called communism, lead to very bad conclusions -- namely slaughter for the cause. We've seen 100m in the 20th century; will it be 200m in the 21st?
