Hints:
Question 1 is subtraction. 1/4 = 2/8. and if you need to borrow in fractions, 14 = 13 + 8/8 (because 8/8 = 1)

Question 3... first figure out how much meat you need (1/2 pound a day for 20 days) then figure out cost

Question 4... convert to mixed numbers first... the second one becomes 61/10. But when you divide fractions, you flip the second one and multiply (so _____ * 10/61)

Hope it helps

I see your combination up - A = PiR^2 good? nicely, section = Pi (radius squared), the place you placed the radius as forty 8. The Diameter is 24 cm, good? nicely, interior the formulation, radius is barely 0.5 of the diameter, so which you may desire to be utilising 12^2, no longer forty 8^2 Your formulation might desire to look like this: section = Pi(3.14) * 12^2 That'll supply you the marvelous answer.
