idiots looking for a good time and before they know it the good time is gone and they're left hung up..but who can tell an idiot anything

Speaking from experience (one), meth makes you feel like you can accomplish everything- right now. You are the world's greatest genius/ artist/ anything. And it all seems to come so naturally you wonder why you never realized you were so great. For me that lasted for about nine hours (all night)
Then the dues came due. What seemed beautiful was suddenly just stupid.looking, and all those great ideas vanished into thin air. That fantastic feeling turned into a dark depression and a knowing that the only way out of it was to take some more.
Just one time and it had me in its clutches.
A very high price- for what?

For the same reason they do any kind of drugs....in the beginning it feels good. Once they're hooked, it ruins their life. There are many addictions people have...not all are illegal....and in every case, people have become addicted to things that once were pleasurable. If everyone would discipline themselves and open their eyes and see what meth does to you and realize, yes, it CAN happen to them, they wouldn't do it in the first place. Unfortunately, as humans, we aren't that disciplined and we often feel that we can 'handle' it and not become addicted to the substances we use or the bad habits we acquire.

Imagine feeling so good nothing in your life matters. Some people are willing to throw away decades of their future just for an overwhelming feeling of greatness for a few minutes. The trade-off sounds ridiculous, but this applies to all addictions. When the drug wears off, the pain of the world is there again, so they do the drug again to try to go back to the bliss experienced the time before.

It's supposed to bring an amazing physical, intense feeling, especially sexual - that people can't experience normally. Done one time to have the experience, people figure they can handle one more and one more.....until they are addicted. It doesn't take long either.
