In the Sate of Georgia it is legal for a 17 yr old girl to choose an adult if she wishes too! I still don't think it is right and I have spoke to him about my feelings the matter.

his wife should get a 17 year old , it dont take a math genuis to figure out 17 goes into 45 more than 45 goes into 17.

well eww, but truthfully its his midlife crisis, and if he loves her well he may have started this relationship awhile ago, so that means someone should tell his wife so that when the divorce goes thru, infedilty will help her case, and for this girls parents to start a motion for the courts to investigate if this coulda started when she was alot younger and her age is ok enough that he can come out and to say i love her now. i feel for the wife, and also that girl, she is young and needs a father figure in her life, and this perv stepped up. he will only use her until he is done and wants to find a women to clean and cook for him the way a 17 yr old girl could not do to satisfy his already used to a 40 somthing yr old wife could. he's probly got children that age or older that may need to be looked into as well... just sick and wrong

I was 17 when I met my 36 year old partner. He was recently divorced and we started seeing each other 4 months after we met. We have now been together for almost 4 years and are considering getting married. Typically, I would say - eew, gross, that's so wrong, that's sick etc etc etc. But I would have never, ever pictured myself falling in love with someone 18 years my senior. 28 years her senior is pushing it I guess - but what can you do? Some men are young at heart, some girls are mature for their age. Together they find their own niche, so it's unfair to automatically label this man a predator or a pedophile. There is 18 years between me and my partner and we are so comfortable with each other, I couldn't imagine ever being with anyone else. He didn't "prey" on me and I wasn't a child. It happens.

Also, that fact that he plans to divorce his wife has nothing to do with this girl so she can hardly be "blamed" for his marriage breakup or called a "homewrecker". He was obviously already unhappy in his marriage to have been "looking" elsewhere.

And what makes you think it's just men that are after younger girls? Plenty of women chase after younger men as well!

It's not sick. Disturbing, yes. Pedophile? No but close. 17 is legal in most states. http://www.coolnurse.com/consent.htm
This idiot has a hot young piece of tail flashed at him and he's 'in love'. Awwww. It's not him realizing that 17 turns into 33, 43, etc... She needs to realize that 45 turns in to 55, 65, etc... No 30 something woman wants to be changing Depends at that age.
I'm 49 and I couldn't do it. 17 would be like raising another kid. Sorry... been there, done that. 35 would be a low as I would go. He'll be crawling his sorry @ss back to his wife in no time.

This man is next to a pedophile. No 17 year old girl is going to want a man of 45. Unless he is rich as The Donald. Men always have to think they are irresistible to young women. And they always think women their own age are too old for them. They never grow up and for the most part they think with that head between their legs.

I believe the young woman is called "jail bait."
No. 3 - no one will marry them. Until they BOTH turn age 18!
45 is his birth date, not his actual age!!
Who is he kidding? They may have some things in common. I am 54 and I have friends that are as young as 12. Our conversations are limited to what we have in common.

Put two people together in a marriage, you better have things in common 24 hours a day! These two do NOT! She will quickly get tired of him and dump him.

And it would serve him right. What goes around, comes around.

What a jerk.

That is pretty sick. Especially considering that the poor girl is falling for it. He must be going through some middle age crisis, but that still don't give him the right to behave this way. What is happening to men nowadays? younger woman.......and they wonder why we worry.......

I really don't think that men realize that a 17 year old turns into a 33, 43 etc.... They are pigs sometimes

Two words: midlife crisis. Some men react differently. They try to go back to when they were young and carefree. Only they don't realize that they have matured and now they are going to affect their family, children, etc. I bet in 1 year they won't be together (him and the17y/o) and he will be alone while his wife has met someone who thinks before they act.
