they will have a female customs officer check them properly for i.d as they are able to show their faces to women, just not men

In order to receive a passport in this country it is mandatory to display the face uncovered in the ID photo. To confirm the person's ID with the photo on the passport at say an airport that person should be required to unveil or reveal their features. It is to say the least unfortunate that traditional display of modesty in one culture is taken as a sinister concealment of identity in another.

I'm assuming that they are checked by a female official since they can have an uncovered head in front of other females.

I saw a friends passport and for some reason they made her show her ear? Neither of us knew why and she said it made her look silly, but they made her show her ear.
Weird huh?

i think that was done on a comedy film, when it wasnt such a politically hot potato.
Now they just put them on the luggadge conveyor, to be scanned for bombs.
