I agree with CJB. You asked if AEM was a good intake, yes it is. Probably the best for Honda, well at least according to AEM. All the cars that they sponsor are Hondas. AEM also makes a lot of other go fast goodies for your car too, so stick with them. Don't listen to those haters. Let's see where their, um, whatever is 500,000 miles from now.

they are the best and so are Honda's...it will be on the road a lot longer than most cars!

it depends on the length of your intake pipe that the filter is attached to. the further away the filter is positioned from the engine the better. less power sapping heat from the engine gets sucked in. or go for an enclosed intake system like Pipercross Viper induction system. filter is housed in a carbon fibre casing with a cold air feed running straight into the filter
