I want to meet people just to talk with and have a good laugh..become friends. I am tired of jerks and perverts. I want to have an intelligent conversation and not about what am I wearing.

Unfortunately, that isn't really what people use the internet for. Maybe if you found a Christian chat room or something you can avoid the jerks and perverts. However, you may have to have religious conversations, rather than just a fun laugh. Still though, I think a chat room on christian site may be your best bet.
