We all see light as it is reflected off objects, would it be possible to minipulate what we see, with our eyes and are brains, so we could see it any way we wanted to?
Since we can minpulate are brains to stop are breathing, and some monks can stop their hearts!
That would be sick, like letting some light into our eyes and only seeing half the object.
Or even going so far as seeing different lights that did'nt exist.
Is their some kind of known defenition for that?

If you could selectively perceive light, then you would very likely see objects differently. Controlling the light that comes into the eye is unlikely - either the iris is open, or it's not, so it's going to be a matter of perception, which could potentially be controlled by the brain.

Okay people, just b/c someone thinks clearly outside the box does not make them a pothead. People are so quick to patronize. There is a lot about our mind and its function that are fascinating and the thought that possibly we are not using things to its full potential can seem unfathomable. Everyone's minds thinks differently. I happen to associate certain things with numbers or colors. I think of months, days, weeks, ages as a spectrum. To some its hard to understand but there are people out there that think on a totally different level, without the inductance of drugs.

Yes, people do this all the time. The brain is an amazing organ, I understand that some people can even watch President Bush on tv without thinking that he is a dimwitted ape...amazing.

I have found that people answering in this section appear to be extremely closed-minded. Your idea is possible, but I've never tried it, so don't ask me about it. It's a very interesting topic, though.
