IMHO your friend is lying because she needs personal space, back off and let her be. By all means remain her friend but you need to rethink your relationship.

Well if you find your friend start to tell lies, will you still trust her is the first question I will be asking you? There is no harm beng her friend but the matter of fact is that how much will you trust her? Friendship are build up based on trust and if you can't trust somebody the chances is that the friendship will not last for long. it is bcoz you worry that one day she may just tell somebody else about all your things. Don't you agree

I would let her know when she is lying(call her out). Tell her that the lies are putting a strain on the friendship and you dont know when she is being truthful. She has shown that she can be a friend by being there when you needed her. Ask her if she can be a even better friend by being herself and not try to impress you with her lies.

No such ingredient as a white lie. All lies are in simple terms that, lies. Rev 21:27 And there shall in no clever enter into it any ingredient that defileth, neither by any ability worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: yet they that are written interior the Lamb's e book of existence. Rev 22:15 For without are canines, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

these kind of people have some sort of problem which they have to settle on their own.
i've been lied to by a someone who i trusted as my friend, who'd not lie to me. it hurts. bad. she's my good friend, someone i've known for years. and she lied because of some guy she's in love with. we've gone thru good and bad times. but i guess after her big fat lie, i jus couldnt trust her nimore.
so, for ur case, jus treat ur friend as u would others. if she asked, most probably tell her the truth. truth hurts, but she'll come around one day. it might even help her and get her thinking.

Ease out of the friendship. Sounds like she helped you out in a crisis and was good at that but she isn't what you need for day to day. Thank her for what she;s done...but gently move on before you get angry at what she's not and you are.

You have to let her know. Tell her that you are not comfortable with her actions. If she replies thats the way she is, then you have to decide whether you want to keep her as a friend.
