There is nothing wrong with it as long as you both understand each others ways. Be sure to be clear as to what you could tolerate. Some just do it because they enjoy it. Others do it too much..Parties...etc...Good luck. LL.

Yes as long as you have a strong will and know your boundaries. If you know that you are going to be tempted by it maybe it is not the right environment for you. All of my friends and boyfriend smoke and I know that it is not for me. I do not try to be something I'm not and I am not a pot smoker. Besides if he truly respects and cares for you he will respect the fact that you do not smoke pot.

No! NOT a good idea.
Parent talking.
You go on a date, cops stop you for any reason. They smell pot.
They arrest BOTH of you. Does not matter who is smoking.
Your parents get involved, end of boyfriend.
You end up with a bad memory of a former relationship.
Sorry, but pot is illegal. If he smokes pot, he is breaking the law.

Of course it is, but what happens if it gets serious? You would probably try to stop him from smoking then. Smokers and non-smokers (any type of smoke) don't mix well together. I smoke both occasionally,but I know if I didn't smoke, it would probably be hard to be around.

I never smoked but the company I USED to keep did. I wouldn't deal with it . . . too much drama and stress. I've had money stolen, had to deal with police questioning me, and had to put up with people who were constantly high and thought everything was a joke.

I think it is okay if it doesn't effect the relationship. If he is sitting around all day smoking bongs well, that would be very boring.

most deffinatly if you like him and he likes you dont let a little thing like pot ruin a potential relationship... its not like heroin that comsumes your life... its ony pot [= but if it makes you uncomfertable than you should not. or just ask him not to smoke around you.
