Small, black, looks like a flea. It crawls slowly and I have found TONS in my bedroom. There had never been any food or anything that I think would attract bugs in there or near there.

Bed Bug?

Get a spray bomb for insects and fumigate your room. They may be something like termites and are living off of the wood or wood products in your room.

It might help narrow down the possibilities if we knew where you lived. Some areas have more bugs than others and some are specific to certain locales.

They could be fleas or any number of other insects. Chances are that fleas would be hopping about and you and your family would have bites to attest to their presence. Best bet would be to capture one and take it to your local extention office or a good garden center for identification. Treatment for insects depends on the type and their feeding habits. Since the infestation is indoors, care must be taken to treat safely and effectively.

Possibly bedbugs. And they do bite.
