If you are going to use a wood bedding aspen is the best, I have never heard of oak as bedding, I can tell you if it is dangerous, but I would not use it unless I was sure as piggys get sick really fast, There are other brands that are great like care fresh, yesterdays news, woody pet, and hunt point bedding, Do not use cedar or the green pine shavings, as they are dangerous to the health of your piggy
