how do i pop my car ignition?? my key doesnt turn over.

Make sure your steering wheel is unlocked jiggle it a bit and sometimes it will help.

Maybe. And maybe there is an anti theft component that will keep it from starting. If it does then turn over and start, keep in mind anyone with a screwdriver can now start your car and drive it off, and you will have a broken ignition lock. If you are a fair do it yourself person, go buy a new lock and key and install it. If not perhaps a lock smith could help you out.

I don't think it's your key thats stuck. this has happened to me and it's been the steering thats stuck. When your about to start the car, try turning the steering wheel at the same time. This almost always breaks it free. I wouldn't advise poping the ignition.

probably when you turned off your engine the last time you used it, you may have turned and locked the wheel. Just force the steering wheel into the opposite direction and then turn the key to start the car.

I don't know what year of a car you have , but some cars require you to turn your steering wheel , to unlock ignition

Your car will still start if you break the lock. To break the lock find a flat screwdriver that fit into the ignition and turn it until the car starts.

RIP THE TOP PLATE OFF WITH A SCREW DRIVER AND THEN JUST USE THE SCREWDRIVER LIKE A KEY. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO JIGGLE IT AROUND A LITTLE CAUSE THERES A LITTLE PIECE THAT YOU GOTTA TWIST AROUND WITH THE END OF THE SCREWDRIVER. IF THE CAR IS NEWER AND HAS ONE OF THOSE COMPUTER CHIPS IN IT THAN YOU MIGHT JUST WANT TO TAKE IT TO THE SHOP. DONT GET PULLED OVER OR TRY TO START YOUR CAR IN FRONT OF A COP OR HE WILL THINK YOUR STEALING IT AND THE CONFUSION IS A REAL HASSLE.

try turn ur steering wheel to unlock it because some cars require you to do that, or u can move the key back and forth and try to force it with strength to unlock but dont break it because it can be hard to fix.

this what you do hommie you take a long flat head screw-driver and a brick put flathead around ignition bang it hard as sh!t around the
ignition using the brick.go all around ignition.you
will see that you are making a gap around the
hole.the ignition should pop.i this cause im from baltimore and 15 years old

don't be so cheap, a new ignition does not cost all that much..i suppose if your steering wheel pops off you will attach a pair of vice-grips and steer with them?..lol..
