One of the best shows I’ve ever seen was Alice Cooper recently at a club show. Blew my mind how much he can still rock for being old. My best stadium show was the Merry Mayhem Tour. It had Mudvayne (sucked), Soil (good), Rob Zombie (awesome), and Ozzy Osbourne (demigod). The worst shows I’ve seen are hard to pick… possibly Clapton last month. I expected some rocking, but got old man blues. On top of that, the crowd was all sitting down. The WHOLE TIME. Seriously, who sits down at a concert? Clutch was awesome live, but the crowd was full of “moshers” who really just wanted to push each other over and beat the hell out of someone. Oddly enough, Bush was the same. A great crowd was at Rob Zombie’s recent tour with Anthrax: people jumping around and, get this, helping each other up when they fell over. How novel. All in all though, I’m going to go with Strapping Young Lad with Meshuggah at a small club show in Minneapolis was my favorite. They played all of my favorite songs, including the lesser known ones, the crowd was decent, and the general atmosphere was spectacular. Anytime you can congratulate the band after a set, that makes the night that much better.

The best concert, that's a hard one. Some of my favorites:
All the Grateful Dead shows that I saw. Great show, great music, and what an atmosphere.
Alice Cooper, super show, music was great, plus the theatrical aspect was awesome. Oh, and the show was on my birthday.
LA Guns, saw them at the Hard Rock Cafe so it was a very intimate setting plus I got to meet all the guys from the band.
Worse show, Jethro Tull. I just could not enjoy the show because I think I was the only person under 40 years of age, and everyone kept getting mad at me for standing up or smoking a cigarette (and it was an outdoor venue....)

The last concert performed by Journey with Steve Perry doing the vocals. The worst, offhand I can't think of the worst other than the Journey reunion tour with their new lead singer who wasn't as good as Steve Perry.

I haven't really been to my favorite band's concert...but my mom bought me tickets to a Atreyu concert. That concert was so awesome! My worst (and first ugh) concert was fall out boy, hawthorne heights, and from first to last. My boyfriend made me go.

Best - Phish
Worst - Probably Parliament/Funkadelic Allstars (I love P-Funk, but there was no bootsy, the guitar player blew, and George Clinton sounded terrible) or Bob Dylan (I respect the hell out of his songwritting, but have never been the biggest fan of his playing. I decided to catch him at Bonnaroo and he was like 40 minutes late and put on quite the snoozefest)
