Okay, my computer will not let me change my homepage at all. I've already gone through internet options. I've also clicked the "Make Yahoo your homepage" link. I've tried putting it back to default. I've also tried to reset the web settings to go back to default, but a box pops up saying "Unable to reset Web Options".

Someone help!!!

click on start / control panel click on add /remove
click on /add/remove windows components , icon untick windows explorer then click on net it will ask you do you want to remove or repair , cick on repair

then do a trojan scan virus /spyware & you can lock your home page with this

This sounds as though you have gotten spyware onto your system that is preventing you from changing your home page. You should probably run a spyware detection program (it won't hurt, at the very least) and allow it to remove the spyware it finds. One of the best freebie spyware detection programs that I've run across is "Spybot." I've included the link below.

this might be that your windows program might be missing some files, or they just got lost, try defragmenting your files by going to accssecories and system tools. and looking fo the defragmenting program
