Southern California, like Santa Barbara. Never too hot, never too cold, mostly sunny. What anyplace else would call "Chamber of Commerce" weather.

I live on O'ahu temporarily b/c of the Military & we had to stay here for a bit. Being from California, I'd have to say that I didn't get use to Hawaii fast. I caught the island fever very easily. Hawaii is very slow paced. It will take you some time to understand Hawaiian Culture, for it being a small island, you will notice the rudeness & racism that come from a large number of individuals. Yes, the locals here are racist against white people & most of them do not like tourist or people from Mainland. The beaches are indeed beautiful but can get pretty crowded due to the high level of tourism. While the local, hawaiian born people say Hawaii is great, there are also some people who indeed hate living in Hawaii. Vacationing in Hawaii is very different from living in Hawaii. The first time I vacationied here, I actually liked it, then after I moved here, I noticed that it wasn't what I thought it would be. You can't judge Hawaii from a vacation. Besides, Hawaii is not the only place in the world where they have beaches, warm weather, beautiful women, etc. If you like islands & the beach & want the full experience, there are other islands around the world that are way better than Hawaii. Such as the Caribbean, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Mexican Riviera, Cancun, etc. Were leaving Hawaii next month & can't wait to go back to Mainland where we belong :) We just recently visited another island (Kauai) that island is alot better than O'ahu. We enjoyed it! We will make a pact to visit Maui in the future, but never again in O'ahu.

Hawaii just had a big earthquake. The trouble with places that are always warm is the risk of hurricanes, tornadoes and the occasional earthquake.
I like where I live. We have four distinct seasons but lately the winters have been very mild. In January at 11 pm for instance I checked online the temperature where I live and compared it to the temperature in Texas. They were both the same (14 Celcius)
I live in New Brunswick, Canada.
