I work as a certified nursing assistant, and there is a lot of lifting involved. I know the proper body mechanics, i've been an aid for 11 years, and i've never hurt my back before. But now I have this tremendis pain in my lower back, and it's killing me! What do you suggest? Thanks in advance = (

I know about the proper body mechanics, as far as lifting, lift with your legs not your back, and so on...... heck im one of the ones that tell new girls on the job about it, I can't stress it enough!, Im not even sure when exactley I hurt my back, usually a person can pin-point when it happened, but for some reason I can't. Just one day I woke up and bam!! I was in a lot of pain. I can't even bend over with out being in pain! And trust me, for the kind of work I do....... I need my back lol. So if somebody can share their experiances and tell me what worked, it will be greatley apreciated! thanks again in advance!, oh and p.s....... do you reconmend that icy hot stuff??
