For the past few days my breats have been sensitve to touch.. I know I'm not pregnant.. I'm only sixteen, and still a virgin.. I just assumed it was because I'm nearing my period.

I think you are assuming correctly. When your hormones rise (as when you are close to your period) your breasts will feel fuller and more uncomfortable. This may not happen every month, but is a sign of a high hormone level. That's why they feel so uncomfortable when pregnant. If you aren't pregnant, don't worry. The discomfort will ease when you get your period. You could try some tylenol. That might help.

At my last sports physical, I was having this same problem. When I asked my doctor about it, she said it's completely normal and it could be a number of things. You breasts could still be developing (this continues until ages 14-20), your birth control-if you're on some-could be making a hormone that makes your breasts extra-sensitive, or it could be the period thing. But don't worry about it. Talk to your mom or a doctor

That usually happens to me, too, around "that" time of month. If it lasts more than another week, though, you may want to ask a doctor, or at least ask your mom.

yes you are right. when your period is coming they tend to get achy, and look somewhat swollen or bigger....that's normal.
