First upgrades should always be Exaust, air intake, chip/programmer, headers, and throttle body/throttle body spacer. Then u can add a supercharger and nitrous. If u still want more power its gunna be about tuning the little things.

2007s are out already?

It's prettty easy, so start simple. First of all, get Googling. There are millions of internet resources for Mustang owners...forums, magazines, tech pages, etc. Pick yourself up some of the magazines, and hit all of their websites too, there are normally a bunch of tech articles for upgrades.

Don't bother with things like turbo's and blowers yet...it's just big talk. You need to beef up your engine and make a lot of mods in order to get the most out of, let alone accept forced air induction.

There's a simple equation for motors...fuel + air + spark = power. Start with a new airbox, and then the exhaust. After that, you can upgrade your computer, then get a litle heavier on the mods. Get a larger bore throttle body, and increase the amount of fuel you have going in there. From there, it's going to get more expensive...heads, intake and headers. As you throw more power down (probably 500+) you'll need to get to the transmission and beef it up. You could also throw a new set of gears in the rear-end...it's not added horsepower, but it'll get the HP down to the pavement quicker.

Once you've gotten that far, you can start looking at blowers. I'm unaware of any turbos that are meant to fit stock engine compartments, but the superchargers sometimes can. A centrifugal supercharger will generate a lot of power...probably as much as a single turbo. You may need to go aftermarket on your hood, but it actually may fit without a mod there.

Like I said though, you need to seek out Mustang owners who have been upgrading their cars, and get answers from them. They're experienced, and by doing this, you'll be able to compare what works and what doesn't.

this isn't about an element you are able to positioned on the engine, so in case you do not care then in basic terms overlook about this. i might want to apply motorsilk engine treatment. for sure this is no longer bolt on or an element, notwithstanding it is a liquid you upload for your oil; it bonds to the walls of the engine keeps it sparkling, and will strengthen horsepower by technique of about 8%, and gas mileage by technique of 20%. It also reduces friction in the engine. this stuff works. My uncle used it, and he wrote down the horsepower and gas mileage of his vehicle before and after he positioned it in and there replaced into an significant strengthen. best of all once you position it in once you not in any respect opt to positioned it in back. it may help get some extra horsepower out of it.
