I want to run for NY Representative, My first order of business would be a 50% pay cut on my part. The other 50% would go back into the comunities I represent. My role is not for money, but for the people I represent. All classes from low to high.If one class gets a 5% tax cut everyone does. I am not a career politician. If the people voted me in , They can also "fire" me. If they have a problem I want to see it fixed Period!!! A politician is an extention of the people.

If you look around you will see politicians all over, working only for the handful of people, those people want the little guys eliminated. If a politician is caught in ANY wrong doing They should be fired on the spot. Creating jobs? alright lets do that. Why are the illeagal imigrants here? Well because the farms they work on Do not pay worth a bamn. That is why we dont want to work there. So lets help them farmers out so they can pay better So more of us can have good jobs. So what do you think?

i'm just going to pretend you're running in my district....no, I wouldn't vote for you.

- I make on the lower side of middle class, but having all people get the same tax cut makes no sense. Of the people who pay taxes, some pay so little taxes that a 5% cut would mean that they're actually being paid to live in America. Tax cuts should be reflective of how much each person pays. The more taxes a person is expected to pay, the more of a cut they should get.

- There's also a problem with the whole 'firing' issue. On what grounds do they have to fire you? What if it's mainly just a pull by those who didn't vote for you in the first place? Do only the people who voted for you get to fire you?

- Politicians need to balance how their country thinks on an issue vs. what they think is right. Public opinion stated that America did not want to become involved in WWII. And FDR promised they wouldn't, even though he knew that was a promise he'd have to break. And it's a good thing he did. Popular opinion does NOT equal right opinion.

- I will agree with you that corrupt politicians should be removed.

- Ah, illegal immigrants. The problem is not that they're jobs Americans don't want. The problem is that farmers and other employers save fortunes by hiring people willing to work for next to nothing. The solution is to start fining these employers who are knowingly hiring illegals. And if it comes to it, prison time.

- And when you say "help" what do you mean? Give them more money? Cheaper taxes? More subsidizing? Another problem is that when you give the government the ability and right to get involved in things not given to them through the constitution, you are surrenduring more of your rights. Their powers don't just appear out of thin air; their power used to be your rights. I'd also like to know a single thing government became involved in and did good.

There is no disaster in this world so horrible that government can't get involved and make things so much worse.

I like the idea of your pay cut, and wanting to give back to the community. Good ideas.

BUT, I'd have to know more about you and your politics.

Like your party, minimum wage, abortion, death penalty, states rights, the war in Iraq, taxes, etc. What you'll do to end poverty! Issues like that.

I was born in Watertown, NY.

Who will you [forcibly] extract money from to 'help them farmers out'? Sorry brother, no dice.

Government ought to be: Police, War Dept., Courts; have a monopoly on the use of force; never initiate the use of force.

You sound good, but so would a utopian capitalist country....

All that you mentioned, is not that easy to fulfill.
