Good grades. You look good to the teachers. And it plants the seed to a bright and promising future.

Lame. You just wasted time by posting this hw rather than doing your hw.

GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Its not really even that hard, and teachers don't look at it closely. THink about it, don't you want to get a good homework grade, so that you can understand the material, so that you can get a good class grade, so that you can become valedictorian of you school, so that you can go to the best college in the country, so that you can become rich and famous, so that you can be married and buy whatever you want.

See, a single homework assignment can go a long way.

If you're like most people I know (including me), you don't like doing your homework.

That's completely understandable, homework is generally boring and it seems to be a waste of time. BUT, if you don't do your homework, you don't practice the problems and you don't understand what's going on.

Doing the homework shows you what types of problems you don't understand (so you can ask your teacher about them) and it allows you to practice (so you're more comfortable during the test).

Many times, tests are easier if you've done the homework. That way, the first time you do a problem is on the homework, not on the test.

Unfortunately, motivation comes from within. People can entice you, seduce you, and make promises to get you to do almost anything, but true motivation come from your heart's desire. Its all about what you want for yourself personally. You have to possess the drive and the want to succeed. Nothing that anyone can say here will motivate you... it will only 'bribe' you.

Take things into your own hand. Find your own reasons for every endeavor.
