Being serious, I've always liked Zidane, and I've always hated Materazzi. This guy has a history of applying elbows to everybody's faces. But, to be honest, Zidane was wrong in doing what he did on the final. They shouldn't even suspend Materazzi for something he said to Zidane to trigger his anger. This kind of thing has always happened in pro football (South American players are experts at it) and the players just have to suck it up and continue playing.

I would agree with Nedaa... except I wouldn't say the part criticizing Ilary Blasi... If I had to say I loved Totti, I would gladly take the opportunity.
I don't hate either of them, so I would be perfectly fine with saying that I love either of them on live television. Even if I said I loved Zidane, people would probably take it that I admire his footballing skills. If I said I loved Materazzi, I wouldn't mind because I'm an Italian fan anyway, and he's not that bad-looking. =) So, it would be an easy task for World Cup final tickets.

Zidane did what was right. Materazzi deserves hundreds of those, just look at his career: fouls, racism, ridiculous own goals. Come on he's a clown. And Zidane est un Seigneur du foot.

I would defiantly say I ⥠you Zidane! I support what he did. You all know if someone was talking crap on your family and giving you crap throughout the whole game after a while you would explode and knock him out.
