I think we should!
Why on earth should a corporation get our tax dollars? Or to further refine it, why should a worker have his taxes taken out of his pay and returned to his employer?
Having been a welfare worker, I can attest to the FACT that the gross majority have and continue to use the food stamp and AFDC programs to finance their irresponsable and lazy way of life.
Individual welfare should also be clicked off.
Do you agree?

to answer some charges:
YES I have worked in min.wage jobs in fast food.
CORRECT THAT
They actually paid at higher than min wage due to the principle of supply and demand.
Yes, it is better to work 55 hours at a job that pays little than to not work and let Uncle Sam pay for your food and housing.
Yes, ILLEGALS drive EVERYONE'S wages down (ok not everyone, the CEO of FORD will not be affected, nor will BIll Gates).

I strongly agree with you. The majority of poor people in the US are poor because they choose to be poor. We have a lot of people around here on Welfare, SSI and disability Social Security who are able bodied and can find suitable work. Many local commercial establishments are crying out for workers. If we get rid of 12 million illegal aliens and welfare, there will be need for a minimum wage. Workers would be paid according to supply and demand. If afterward, we still have a shortage of workers, a good guest worker program could be put in place.
Also SSI is a disgrace to a worker who has paid thousands of dollars into the system and sees dead beats who have paid little or nothing receive a portion of our retirement pay. I live a town of about 2500 people and can count at least 25 dead beat Welfare. SSI or Social Security disability people I know. How many others are in the US, the numbers would be in the millions.
Stop the corporate and individual welfare and cut the deadbeats out of our Social Security System and everyone will have a lot less taxes to pay and a lot more money to spend.

some abuse the programs well for most is is barely a safety net, homeless in the USA is sad but look at the shelters and you will find real people that are not addicts that was a pay check from the streets. Not all are bad and if we don't help do we support missions to get some of the Americans back on their feet then what?

I think if we did, churches and charities would step up and help, so it wouldn't be the end of the world.

As for corporate welfare, they say it helps keep the corporations in America. I have no idea whether it is true or not, but I think they could find a way to force the corporations to do more for the communities that they are in.

Perhaps you are in the wrong line of work ??.....Maybe you should go work at a factory or taco bell ? Shut up and do your
JOB. Or, don't do this type of work. If everyone had a great
paying job and were financially stable...you'd be out of a job !!!
Doctors need patients..Airlines need people to fly....or they would be out of business. Don't you understand....that the poor will
ALWAYS be with us ?? Stop being so harsh........would you
rather our Country just let people starve to death ? or, have more
homeless people of all kinds....millions....freezing to death on the
streets ? This is a FACT.....not fiction. STOP COMPLAINING!!

"Corporate Welfare" stimulates economic growth. Without the corporation, there is no work for the worker.
