An onomatopoeia is a word that is formed to imitate a sound. Here are some examples: buzz, hiss, chirp, burp, blip.

If you are supposed to write your own example, start by thinking of sounds. In this case, you are looking for something that makes 5 noises in succession. You are going to make up a word to imitate those noises. You'll have to start by listening and thinking. Water moving downstream might make 5 sounds. A train moving down a track might make 5 sounds. A horse running through a field might make 5 sounds. You'll have to find one that inspires you.

In rhetoric, linguistics and poetry, onomatopoeia (also spelled onomatopœia) is a figure of speech that employs a word, or occasionally, a grouping of words, that imitates the sound it is describing, and thus suggests its source object, such as "bang" or "click", or animal such as "moo", "quack" or "meow".
