I see no reason why not. Being black certainly doesn't keep you from being Jewish (by religion) or Atheist. If you don't believe in God, you are an Atheist. If you practice or believe in at least some of the beliefs of the Jewish faith, I see no reason why you can't call yourself Jewish.

Likewise if you have some ethnically Jewish ancestors, then yes, you certainly have the right to call yourself black and Jewish.

In my mind these are not contradictions. While some people might be confused because they like race and religion to be simple, that is their problem. In real life, people are complex.
