why do you they call the movie osmosis jones? how does it make sense with the movie?

the title doesnt seem to fit... because hes a white blood cell and i heard that they cant go through diffusion. so how does that make the title logical?

Sometimes the writer, scriptwriter, director or movie producer have to come up with a catchy name to indetify this with the movie, like Spongebob. The lead player of the movie name is Jones, he is part of the whole reaction within the body, a short biology class on how it works inside the body and fight against disease.

If the lead character name is Bob, the title could be Osmosis Bob, but its does not rhyme.
