I am also a person of color, atheist and Buddhist. I am definitely outside the box. I don't think your color should dictate your beliefs. Putting people in a box makes things more convenient for other people to categorize you, but where is it written that you need to be categorized? Not anyplace I've ever read.

People pick and choose what they believe from various philosophies. I see nothing wrong with this. As long as you are trying to be a good person, I think that's all that matters.
