I've checked Best Buy, Conn's, Office Depot, and Fry's.
I'm interested in the Thinkpad R60, because I love the pointing stick feature (that little nub in the middle of the keyboard used for navigation). It is a neccessity to me.
What is so wrong with IBM's that nobody will sell them?

The first poster is a moron. IBM doesn't sell personal computers anymore, they sold their PC business to Lenovo.
If you want a Thinkpad you can still get them from Lenovo.

They may have been priced out of the market. Maybe, you should check with Lenovo, a company IBM sold the business to.
As for the navigation stick, some people love it while others are quite happy with just the touch pad. Looking at most notebooks today, touch pad is the preferred navigation device for notebooks, of course, the optical mouse is still easier for most people.
Note: Lenovo was previously known as Legend, a major PC maker for the China market.

IBM's thinkpads are now sold under the Brand name Lenovo.The company bought IBM's laptop business.

IBM no longer makes PCs. They sold the PC line to a company called Lenovo. Lenovo still makes the Thinkpad line:

i just came from ibm and they do sell computers and laptops...go check them out and look around in there website

you can order it, maby on line but most vender's see them as junk and don't want the hassles of warranty claims. IBM repaires there own...
