My 32 years old wife cannot wear pierced earrings because she never had her earlobes pierced. IMO it's a pity: she would really be cute wearing a nice pair of earrings (e.g. little pearl studs or golden hoops).
She loves earrings too, but unfortunately she's scared by needles.
How can I convince her to take the plunge and go for ear piercing?

My wife doesn't like the clip-on style at all. She prefers to show off bare unpierced earlobes. As far as she doesn't get her ears done I think she's better doing without earrings.

Buy her a nice pair and see what she says. Maybe by buying her some you can some how convince her to do it. Why don't you make a bet with her like if she get's her ears pierced than you will promise her to get her the best pair of earings she's ever had. Tell her that after they are pierced you can go out and get some ice cream to make it all better! Good luck!

Getting your ears pierced is a personal decision and she should not be pressured by anyone to have it done. When someone has a legitimate fear, you should only be supportive. You can get magnetic earrings at jewelry stores that look just like pierced earrings, but the magnet holds them together without getting them pierced. You never know...if you get her a pair of these and she likes how they look she might come up with the idea of getting her ears pierced herself (it would be better if it was her idea, you know!).

It does not even harm. they do no longer use needles, they use an earring to pierce. And it rather is in comparison to that take a bite of your earlobe. They chop up it so that's no longer gross the two. It became soo humorous. They positioned the earring on my earlobe and that they suggested "Did that harm?" and that i suggested "No." Then they suggested "sturdy, how approximately now?" and that they pierced my ear and it did no longer harm the two. She needs to take a seat down back slightly, it wont' harm till she have self belief it is going to, then it is going to harm, badly. Say "Honey i admire you, yet once you extremely like rings, decide for it. It does not harm in any respect sicne they formed a sparkling painless way. Plus it rather is a fashion for an prolonged time."

Does your wife want this done or do you want this done? You shouldn't pressurize her into this. How would you feel if she was pressurizing you to have something done you are uncomfortable with?
If she wants this done for herself, then maybe she could have a few glasses of wine beforehand or take some valium, or even try hypnotherapy. But at the end of the day, it should be her decision, not yours.

volunteer to go with her and be by her side while it's done. then tell her she can pick out a really nice pair of earrings when it's over and don't flip out if she wants diamonds! if that doesn't work, then maybe you just have to let it go and let her wear the clip on earrings. good luck!

Hey! Why don't you go with her.
You can get yours done first and show her it is not so bad. You would be supporting her and you can always let your holes close up if you don't like it.
Hey and a couple glasses of wine before you do it wouldn't hurt either.

Can't you must respect wife, if she's afraid of needles you shouldn't push her to have an ear piercing.
